Intermediate River Rafting Trips
The Numbers (Very advanced, Class IV-V)
This section of the Arkansas is considered by many to be the ultimate adrenaline rush on the Arkansas River! The Numbers is a narrow, rocky, cold-water run requiring advanced skills. Beginning at over 8,000 feet in elevation, this section is the most continuous class IV rafting in the state. The Numbers stretch requires the negotiation of tight maneuvers and boat-crashing waves, delivering some of the most exciting rapids on the Arkansas River. Due to the vigorous and continuous nature of this section of Adventure Class Whitewater, all participants must be in good physical condition and have the ability to swim. Helmets are provided and wetsuits are required. Minimum age recommendations depend on water conditions. Please call for more information.
